Drifting - Bebo Norman

I think Bebo Norman is my current artist. Not "favorite" or "best", but just my 'artist' right now. Im taking a small amount of time to write more in this thing. The past few days have been hard in a really solid way. I've been getting more and more frustrated with people that its hard for me to love. And ultimately, more so, getting frustrated with myself for allowing my anger to control any part of me. Humbling to say in the least. But essential, Im discovering more and more how ugly and prevalent my sin nature is. I thank the Lord for His guidance through random things, for opening my mind and choosing me despite my failures.

Falling from the rooftop
Crashing like a raindrop

Shaking like a leaf
Standing at the floodgate
Steady as an earthquake
Can you hear my heart break
Tearing at the seams
Rising from the ashes
Lifting from the madness

Deep enough to dream
Heal me from the deathblow
Lead and I will follow
