Din Din Wo (Little Child)
Its a song Koh has on his computer that has an immediate effect of mental stability. Today Ive experienced a little bit of a wide range of music that wouldnt necessarily have the greatest effect on me. I listened to some cds Ashley made me a while back and I came across. Then I was bouldering and the boys were listening to some hardcore - both of which were those kind of sounds that might force a person to a prior time, prior place, previous life.

And then, now - at this very moment, comes a song like By Your Side by Tenth Avenue North. And I realize fully the effect music has on my mind, heart and everything in between.
I spent the day at Micah and Christas and it was so refreshing to be there. Bethany came up later, but before she did I was listening to James on their ipod and something hit me that never had before. When hes talking about differentiating between wealthy and poor people and treating them differently. It occured to me that (as simple as it is) that its not just in a physical "meeting" (which is the word NIV uses) but in meeting people as they come into my life. That treating some terribly while giving others thrones of royalty in my heart is the exact act he is speaking of.

I use to listen to Nouveau in College... how crazy is that! Thanks for watching Ethan yesterday! It was super nice to be able "to get away" from responsibility and life for a few hours. At times all the continual work gets oh so tiring!
