This post is from Monday.

Let me just start by saying that I love coming online, and checking the blogs of my friends on here. The things that you express, whether frustrations or excitements or pictures or lessons learned or recipes; I just love reading them. Its always a highlight, and I think of you and pray for you and love you all so much.

Casting Crowns is not on any of my typical playlists - nor do I usually like the songs played on the local Christian radio, but it just so happens that the other day while I was making a quick run somewhere, this song came on the car radio - I love it.
And also Ive decided that I am actually an underground African soul singer. "Baby I need your lovin' got to have all your lovin'" Puttin' some SOUL in it.
Anyways - Micah and Christa, I have a plan - come in the summer and we go backpacking. Or winter, or fall, or whenever. Im absolutly dead serious, we would be EXTATIC (Im not even sure how to spell that) to see you. You always have a place in our home.
Today is Cameron day, as is every Monday. I get to watch one of the kids of the moms in the church. His name is Cameron, his moms name is Maria. I honestly couldnt even remember who Maria was when she called to ask if I could babysit her 2 year old. It was one of the things that the LORD just worked out right away, I needed ways to pour out, and she needed someone to watch her kid. As he is here today, I am reminded of how much of a blessing it has been to watch him every week. At first he would cry some and only really care about the toys. He loves coming here now and I love having him here. The LORD answered both mine and Marias prayers, fulfilling the need for a babysitter, and fulfilling the need for a friend. Several weeks ago it was warm enough to go outside, and Cameron and I walked around the trail and he got the biggest kick out of stepping on my shadow - he laughed and laughed. Last week he blew me away with his knowledge of the alphabet, there are several letters he knows pretty well, he even writes the letter "O" and knows what it is. There are some days that he is not so easy, but nonetheless, I have truly developed a love for this little boy.
Despite the fact that he peed in our bed. :-)
