Home.

It has been so much fun having home be here, be with Rocky. Its like he is my home now, together we make home. Its not so much the house or the neighborhood, but that he is in it. Though it has been really fun setting up our home as in the house - making do with what we already have, laughing at all the querks about our house, trying to figure out where things are or where they go. Our home looks empty i a lot of ways because we dont have a lot of stuff, but in other ways, its been amazing to see how much stuff we already have. I always thought I didnt have all that much - but it easily fills a lot more space than I had thought.
Today has been really good and just blowing me away with all the blessings established in our lives already and continuing to come up. Just now, I went on a walk around this little trail they have here, and in going out I was just praying to have an open heart for the community and that any interactions with people from here would not be what I was expecting, but what the LORD would have; thats what I want to be open to, not my own idea of what things should look like. So I was going to stop by Wayne and Olives (I met them last time I visited) and turns out they were leaving right as I got there so we only talked for a few minutes, but it was SO ENCOURAGING. They immediately were like "Were going into town, do you want to come?" I would have if they were getting home sooner, but I wouldnt have been home in time for Rock. But they just went on about how Olive would love to go into town with me some days if I needed a ride, she goes in on tuesdays and thursdays, which is actually really encouraging because I dont know my way around town and I would be driving Rocks car which is a standard which Im not the best at driving, and town is a little more complicated than straight country dirt roads. And Olive was like, oh if you need veggies, take some from my garden, come over and visit, we want you to feel welcome.
Thank you Wayne and Olive, and Thank you LORD - for I truly feel welcome.
